"I attended this
seminar with the hopes of learning something new about
taxes… I walked away totally enlightened at all that I
have learned. The seminar was informative, level of
presentation was great, information was easy to
understand and will prove to be the most important
seminar I have attended since starting our business in
1999.
This is a
'must have'
for anyone who has, or is considering starting a
business, regardless of you business structure… GREAT
JOB!"

"The course was worth the time and money spent. Goals
clearly defined, explanation excellent. The information
was very applicable & practical. My thoughts are the
worst that could happen to any entrepreneur is to have
their time and efforts snuffed out by not understanding
how to pay your share of taxes, or in some cases, paying
too much. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"

"With me just beginning a new company this year in 2008,
the information and knowledge gathered in this workshop
will not only help me to set-up my recording correctly
from the start, but will keep me from getting into
trouble and pitfalls during the upcoming tax year and
also will help my company be prepared for tax time.
On a personal note, I
learned that keeping good detailed records is essential,
not only for the business, but also personally."

"#1. Very informative! #2. Well recommended.
#3. I’ve taken several Guerilla Marketing courses,
but only 1 to 2 hours long, never enough information
imparted. #4. This course was well worth time
spent. # 5. Instructors were very well versed
in the subject matter."

Ezra Saffold, All Site Construction, Inc. General Contractors

Mr. Safford was
referred to the Center by Bank of America in January of 2002. His
company has just secured its second contract with the Palm Beach
County Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program, a program that offers
small business enterprises an opportunity to secure annual contracts
valued at $1,000,000.
"Before I got involved in the program at the Palm Beach County
Resource Center I had very limited knowledge of how business is done
on a professional level, even though I had graduated from Florida
Atlantic University with a Bachelors degree in Business
Administration. I was just trying to hustle for a living. I
didn’t have a good grasp of the harsh realities of the construction
industry or how to bid a job properly, since I had no clue of
overhead or profit concepts. From the beginning the Center’s
Management Training program simplified hard to understand management
concepts, and created a practical framework that I could easily
understand. It helped me to identify my niche, to devise a strategy
that would bring my desires to reality and be able to sustain myself
for the rest of my life."
William Hatcher, Hatcher Construction, & Development Inc.
Mr. Hatcher credits
the management training offered by the Palm Beach County Resource
Center for giving him practical application of the rules and
regulations he learned when securing his General Contractor’s
license.
“The business knowledge, key tools, and management skills
that I have gained have greatly impacted my business, allowing the
company to strategically position itself to switch from residential
to commercial projects as the market changes. The company went
from $300,000 gross receipts in 2000 to almost $1,000,000 in 2001,
and as of 2006 we have tripled that figure. Our next step is into
project development, and our next goal is to do $15,000,000
annually. The practical knowledge that we have gained through PBCRC
program has been critical to our continued success.”
Joan Brown, Caribbean Royalty Mortgage Company
Ms.
Brown credits the knowledge and skills she learned through the Palm
Beach County Resource Center for being able to buy her dream car, a
black Mercedes, in 2005!
“In
spite of being wheelchair bound due to brain surgeries, I had the
courage to transition from corporate America into my own commercial
and residential mortgage processing company because of the
management tools and training I received from the Palm Beach County
Resource Center. I started in a small 10x12 office and less than
three years later had three locations, quadrupled my gross revenue
and started expanding my business into other states.” |
