Traditional Education/Training Programs S.E.E.K. Alternative

Traditional programs use generic examples in class.  No work product is created for specific businesses.

S.E.E.K. allows all participants to use his/her business for the in-class exercises.  Participants leave with work product for their businesses.

This makes the training session both a knowledge and skill-building day, and a productive work day since the participant leaves with work product tailored to their business.

Traditional programs have one instructor who may have limited practical experience and uses whatever curriculum he/she desires.

S.E.E.K. has a specially trained teacher who has a lesson plan and curriculum developed by industry experts AND a subject matter expert in the class.

The Subject Matter Expert is there to help S.E.E.K. participants apply all knowledge and skills learned in class to their specific businesses, thus making S.E.E.K. a, "Consulting in a classroom environment" program.

Traditional certification programs care about
the final assessment more than the journey.  The instructor often provides his/her own curriculum.

S.E.E.K. uses a set curriculum and all classroom staff goes through rigorous training.  The hows and the whys are as important as the base knowledge.

This ensures the consistency and high value of all S.E.E.K. classes.  The instructors are trained to teach from a set curriculum with a goal of teaching why a skill is important to a business, as well as how to perform that skill.

Traditional programs base success on assessment testing (education model).

S.E.E.K. bases success on demonstrated competencies.

We don't base the success of the S.E.E.K. program on how well you can "parrot" information, or how well you can take tests.  We base the success of the S.E.E.K. program on how well you perform the skills taught in class.
